British PCS Jacket - thermal jacket of the latest design PCS of the British Army came as a replacement for the outdated two-sided Softie CS95 jacket, which was produced for many years. Can be worn as an outer layer (including wearing over a body armor vest), as well as as one of the base layers, for example under a Gore-Tex jacket.

The exterior is made of lightweight, extremely dense hydrophobic nylon Ripstop which is windproof but capable of breathing and wicking moisture away from the body. Inside, the jacket is filled with polyester Softie Premier material, created to provide maximum warmth with minimal weight. Softie Premier insulation (a good synthetic alternative to down) is top-class insulation. Softie Premier uses the same basic principles as traditional Softie material, but improvements in the fiber manufacturing system, as well as the binding resins used, provide softer and more durable insulation. Used in sleeping bags and clothing for extremely low temperatures.

The jacket has adjustable drawcords to prevent heat loss at the hem of the jacket and at the back of the collar. The front of the jacket has a reliable zipper with two sliders. Two front pockets for warming hands and also a large chest pocket on the right side also with zippers.

• The jacket is made in light olive color to match other PCS clothing currently produced, such as t-shirts, fleece shirts and so on.
• Two front pockets + chest pocket with reversible zipper fastening and built-in bag for self-packing the jacket.
• Hood with wired visor, which can be rolled up and hidden in the collar.
• Fleece lining on the inside of the collar for wearing comfort and heat retention.
• Elastic cuffs.
• Waist, collar and hood with drawstrings for tightening.
