Virtus Commander's Daysack 45L MTP

The Virtus 45L Commander's Backpack is part of the modern combat equipment system Virtusused by British Army units. It is designed for efficient stowage of a commander's kit, providing ergonomics, weight balance and easy access to the contents during combat or field tasks.

• Total capacity: 45 litres — ideal for two- or three-day operations, with enough room for equipment, ammunition, a hydration system, documents and personal items. The pack's volume is adjustable via compression straps with side-release buckles on both sides.
• Rigid frame — orthopaedic back panel with a plastic insert for comfortable load carriage.
• Two compartments — the main one (with front zip access) and an additional one on top of the pack with zip access for stowing a radio.
• Adjustable suspension system — shoulder straps with soft ventilated padding and a sternum strap — all to reduce the load on the back.
• Large front zip pocket — designed for quick access to maps, tablets, a first aid kit, cards and other essentials.
• Pocket with soft lining for glasses or optics.
• Compatible with hydration systems (Rider or CamelBak) — inside there is a loop and a port for routing the tube. The shoulder straps have hydration tube retainers.
• Compatible with the DWD dynamic weight distribution system, which distributes weight between the shoulders and hips, improving the soldier's comfort and manoeuvrability. On the move, the load can be shifted at the push of a button from 100% on the shoulders back to 100% on the hips, and any combination in between.
• Compatible with the PLCE belt and Virtus body armour.
• Durable materials — water-resistant fabric, resistant to wear and mechanical damage.
• IRR fabric, to reduce visibility to night vision devices.
• MOLLE modular attachment system across the entire surface — full compatibility with additional pouches, first aid kits, radios, bottle carriers, etc.
• Velcro panels on the top, front and sides.
• Elastic retainer loops prevent strap ends from dangling.

The backpack can be fitted with 5L side pouches or 7.5L each (not included), which will increase the pack's usable capacity by an additional 10L or 15L respectively.
